Root Cause Analysis
The course will provide learners with tools for conducting a thorough root cause analysis. The material presents two case studies demonstrating incomplete analyses, the failure of resulting solutions, and how proper tools and methods would have provided effective solutions. The course includes a downloadable real-life case study of the telco central office fire, which occurred in Hinsdale Illinois, May 8, 1988. The resulting analysis and conclusions determined many of the safety rules enforced in ICT data centers to this day.
